Best Practice Governance

"Business decision making predicated on a belief in potential rewards, balanced with the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the risks taken to pursue those potential rewards."

- PRMIA Governance Principles

Ductile companies engage in the thorough and ongoing education of their board, senior executives employees, key customers and suppliers. According to the Professional Risk Managers' International Association's Governance Principles, "Ongoing Education and Discernment" is one of the seven essential principles of best-practice corporate governance.

There is a compelling case to be made for developing a risk-aware company that intercepts risks as they materialize, more effectively uses risk to sieze opportunities and gains advantage over its competitors. It is also critical to understand how customers and others react to risk events.

Our group has been involved in the development of highly acclaimed international credentialing programs for risk managers, private Board and senior executive education sessions and the development of customized job-level training regimens that build corporate risk-awareness.

We provide programs for select individuals and small groups via classroom and videoconferencing facilities.

A ductile system is a living system continuously evolving and changing to meet the needs of your customers and your shareholders. Development and implementation of a carefully designed risk education program creates the breadth of risk awareness to make the paradigm shift to higher value that comes with ductility.
