Ductilibility
is a private research initiative serving Chief Risk Officers and Boards of Directors.  We bring together real-world leadership experience and a network of hundreds of the world's leading risk managers and executives, Our focus is to advance the critical interaction between Boards of Directors and the risk management infrastructure of their firms, emphasizing an alignment between corporate strategic objectives and the governance of the organization.

David R. Koenig is the founder of Ductilibility. He served as Chair of the Board of Directors and was a founding member of the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA). He served as Chief Executive Officer of PRMIA and President of the PRMIA Institute until September of 2007.

In 2008, David was awarded the PRMIA Higher Standard Award, that association's highest award recognizing an individual's contributions to the international risk profession. In 2007, David was selected by his peers as one of the first 100 members of the Risk Who's Who International Honorary Society

David has led the development of three separate risk management programs and served as the Head of Market and Institutional Credit Risk Management for US Bancorp Piper Jaffray prior to his time with PRMIA. He began his career at the First National Bank of Chicago.

David has been published in both practitioner-focused and academic journals and has been a featured speaker at over 40 international events.
